The history of the light bulb spans the entire 19th century with Thomas Alva Edison credited for the invention with his 1879 version. "Turkey" 's mentality is old too, like AKP's logo suggests. But unlike the light bulb it has remained the same. True, AKP's Islamofascist version successfully replaced the Kemalofascist version. But raw fascism nevertheless dictates policies. The worst part of the story is that the state has been diligently raising generations that neither see nor are equipped to seek for the alternative. They are preoccupied with saving by force and intimidation their ethnic Turkish state at all costs. The cost to be paid in the end shall be unfathomable! And the end is nigh. Turkey's Kurds & Cyprus' tCypriots
As either unitary state or federation solutions are discussed as replacements to Cyprus' 1960 and Turkey's 1923 unworkable constitutions, should we abide by "if a right is a right too many for Turkey's Kurdish community (circa 23% of population) then that right is a right too many for Cyprus' tCypriot community too (circa 15%), and vice versa." Is the adoption of this fair logic the catalyst to securing just solutions for both UN countries.
