The solution negotiated by the Greek side for the Cyprus issue gradually shifted to a two-state confederation and an institutional framework that would confirm Ankara’s sovereignty over the entire island and preserve the interests of the US and NATO in the region.

This new state structure will emerge with the dissolution of the Republic of Cyprus and will be structured on the basis of racial criteria.

This means that there will be an ethnic vote and citizens will not vote with single electoral lists but with lists based on their ethnic origins and religion.

What's the face of your minority dictating the terms of your surrender?

Bizonality (not merely stupid, a criminal concept for Cyprus) raises the ante on every state with large difficult/unwilling-to-assimilate minority communities. Any form of legalized division on Cyprus would make a disaster precedent under international law. It's up to us not to approve such nonsense. Whatever the cost. And I'm afraid it may include human lives too, as Turks realize that the end game is nigh and they have no option but to play what has been their only card all along: military force.

Bizonality in a nutshell: Imagine a section of your town or country carved up, its Christians thrown out, forced to sell their properties, your country's Muslims (or ethnic minority) invited in, and the two zones, the smaller one de-jure for Muslims and the other for kafirs, to be equally represented in political structures, each with effective veto powers. If you can imagine it then you understand the solution the United Nations is promoting for Cyprus. It will never be approved. Just as you would never approve it. None of you.

Any settlement to the Cyprus issue must be just, sustainable and above all, in line with the rule of law. It must be for the benefit of all citizens and lawful residents of the Republic of Cyprus, which encompasses the entire island.

It should not be overlooked that the so-called ‘Cyprus problem’ has been caused by Turkish-inspired constitutional segregation, which has been aggravated by Turkey’s invasion, occupation, ethnic cleansing and colonisation of 37 per cent of the territory and 57 per cent of the coastline of the Republic of Cyprus.

Bizonality Defined

BIZONALITY (aka BBF) is that political system which requires the legalization of forced usurpation of land and properties of majority Christians via their very own vote, in order to create a unified de-jure majority Muslim geographic zone in the framework of a 50-50 federation-apartheid between the majority and a Muslim minority.

UN Cyprus tweeted on June 8th 2016 about Lisa Buttenheim's departure (will we ever know the real reasons?) (1st snapshot). I replied with a tweet that read "Good people. Condemned to star in the Bizonality Sisyphean Tragedy. Cherchez le Brit" (2nd snapshot). And to my surprise Espen Barth Eide, of all people, both liked and retweeted (3rd snapshot). An honest mistake? Or perhaps not? I immediately captured the screen as I suspected it would not stay up for long. Indeed, minutes later it was gone!

But what (part of the tweet) could have prompted Mr Eide to both like and retweet? My tweet contained three messages.

24th April marked twelve years since Cypriot Greeks rejected in a referendum, by an overwhelming 76% margin, the UN-sponsored “Annan Plan”. By contrast, 65% of Cypriot Turks with Turkish settlers in the occupied north accepted the plan in a separate referendum.

This rejection by Cypriot Greeks must be startlingly puzzling to a foreign observer. I can even picture an annoyed reaction in my mind: Wait a minute!

Having outlined the sad historical background of the denial of implementation of the core UN principles of equal rights and of self-determination for the people of Cyprus in our Victory Day anniversary analysis (9 May 2016), it is necessary to take a look at the current state of affairs with respect to the settlement process of the Cyprus question.

The latest statement we had from the Chief Negotiator of the victimised side on the Cyprus equation i.e. the Greek majority, whose right to self-determination has been violated for 70 long years, came out last weekend. It reads as follows: Today we have the best chance ever for reunification of Cyprus which is why we should take advantage of it and do everything we can in this direction. This is a unique opportunity and this window of opportunity will not stay open forever.

Zones, Hypocrisy and Cyprus

The zones in Cyprus were the result of an illegal, unwarranted invasion. Cyprus never had zones in its history. Or if you prefer all zones in all of Cypriot history (which spans millenniums and did not start when Ottomans invaded in 1571) have been majority Christian and/or Greek or wholly Christian and/or Greek. Therefore federation is equivalent to accentuating 1960 injustice by superimposing magic zones which are majority owned by Christian refugees. This is why it will never be approved.

Furthermore, the precedent would be disastrous. What next? Muslims in Birmingham seeking their own zone? Kurds in Istanbul (a city 20 times the size of Cyprus)? I fail to see the logic behind rendering a monstrosity part of international law because of an unfortunate historical alliance between Kemalist fascism and the Anglo-Saxon world.

Makarios was right in 1963. A minority cannot demand privileges of the kind Turkish Cypriots demand. No European in their right mind would accept them for their minority. Neither will Cypriots.

Turkish Cypriot minority (18%) demands

The Turkish Cypriots run a pseudo-state recognized only by Ankara. Discussions are under way to reintegrate them into the international community under a federative structure. These are a few of their basic demands:

• the end of the Republic of Cyprus which it undermined / abandoned
• an autonomous zone/state on stolen Greek Christian land
• an autonomous zone/state with guaranteed Muslim majority
• regognition of its state against international law
• universal veto rights for all federation decisions
• over-representation in state apparatus upto 2.5 times its numerical size
• full exclusive education in Turkish
• half af all hydrocarbons / natural resources
• automatic accession to the EU family
• automatic prestige upgrade and participation in the international community
• eternal presence and say by "Turkey" in Cypriot affairs

BBFers have been flying the Cyprus craft "successfully" for decades. All this time they have masterfully been hiding both their vision problems as well as their far more serious mental condition, a deeply held belief that by limiting human rights and legitimizing ethnic cleansing, a war crime, someday they will be doing "something that will change the entire system and everyone will know their name and remember it.”

The Cyprus Model

Assume that Americans and their NATO allies are right 100% in saying that Putin is provoking the escalation of tension in south and eastern Ukraine. Imagine that after sufficient "provocations" from the Ukrainians Putin has had enough and outright invades Ukraine, even bombs Kiev, and chases pro-western Ukrainians away by force from the south and the east of the country. Imagine further that Poroshenko makes a desperate plea at the United Nations for the cessation of hostilities & the respect of his country's territorial integrity. Imagine that a temporary exchange of populations is agreed, so that all Russians of Ukraine move to the Russia-occupied south and east of the country, or the Russia occupied half of Kiev, as well as allowing the remaining few Ukrainians to move to the free Ukraine. Imagine that the United Nations, unable/unwilling to chase Putin out and after six years of dead-end talks, "convinces" the Ukrainians to pursue a Bizonal Bicommunal Federation, based on the Cyprus 2004 Annan Plan, as the only realistic way out of the conflict that preserves the fundamental goal of keeping the country united, insisting that such plan is in line with the organization's principles. Just imagine. And Putin would be right in asserting that unlike Cyprus, bizonality in Ukraine was a pre-exisiting condition, not the result of ethnic cleansing. See map below.

The Trap

The Bizonal Bicommunal Federation (BBF) is a British-American apartheid trap with a dual purpose: to allow time for post invasion, post-ethnic cleansing NEW REALITIES to be firmly established, while safeguarding the CRITICAL (MILITARY) INFRASTRUCTURE on Cyprus secured via the original apartheid 1960 constitution. There is no exit. So far it has worked just as intended. How much longer will it take the Cypriots to figure out the dirty game by the U-Gang, the United Kingdom, the United States and their UN puppet.

BBF or better known as BA is a UK-US designed, "Turkey"-produced nightmare.

Trying to get there is like a labyrinth, a maze with an entry but no exit. And that is why after 40 years we are still at the entrance & every attempt to find an exit has failed. An exit does not exist. This feature was no mistake. It was the very design.
