The UN Negotiator Liking & Retweeting a Sworn Antibizonalist

UN Cyprus tweeted on June 8th 2016 about Lisa Buttenheim's departure (will we ever know the real reasons?) (1st snapshot). I replied with a tweet that read "Good people. Condemned to star in the Bizonality Sisyphean Tragedy. Cherchez le Brit" (2nd snapshot). And to my surprise Espen Barth Eide, of all people, both liked and retweeted (3rd snapshot). An honest mistake? Or perhaps not? I immediately captured the screen as I suspected it would not stay up for long. Indeed, minutes later it was gone!

But what (part of the tweet) could have prompted Mr Eide to both like and retweet? My tweet contained three messages.

From Gul Tuysuz, for CNN Updated 1656 GMT (2356 HKT) April 6, 2015 - Istanbul, Turkey (CNN)A court order, requested by Turkish authorities, has resulted in the blocking of Twitter and YouTube in Turkey, a government official told CNN. Authorities say they ordered the blocks because the sites did not remove photos and other content from a March 31 hostage situation at Istanbul's central courthouse.

The order blocked at least 166 websites that shared the images.

During last week's siege, the two gunmen and the prosecutor they reportedly took hostage died in a shootout with police after authorities stormed the courthouse.

Turkish authorities moved to stop newspapers from printing images of the incident.

"Democracy"

This is the country that with the help of pathetic and male- volent Britain trying to preserve Cyprus in its sphere of influence, in the name of a small Muslim Cypriot minority, has been meddling in Cypriot affairs in order to introduce its idea of "democracy". In the process it illegally invaded (not in a velvet Ukrainian manner), divided, ethnically cleansed by killing thousands and chasing away all the Greek Christian population of the occupied lands which constituted almost 90% at the time, and since then rapes systematically the cultural and demographic character of the area, against ethics and the 4th Geneva Convention.
