Özdil Nami needs to realize he represents the will of about 80.000 Cypriots. Turkish Cypriots used to constitute 18% of Cyprus' population; today less than 10%. Özdil Nami is Minister of nothing. He knows very well that his community NEVER had any contiguous land in Cyprus. The land of his statelet is stolen, ethnically cleansed, illegally colonized, culturally sodomized.
It belongs to Greek Chritsians (we have the Briitsh to thank for our land registry). He also knows that his community's cultural mark on Cyprus is insignificant next to the Greek Christians' millennia old non-stop, documented presence. The audacity of Turkish Cypriots is Kemalist, neo-Ottoman audacity. Our answer is: the minority will have in Cyprus those rights Kurds should have in Ankara, Constantinople and Smyrna. But Özdil Nam's problem is that he does not dare support Kurdish rights & considers privileges anathema for anyone else except him.

Turkey's Kurds & Cyprus' tCypriots
As either unitary state or federation solutions are discussed as replacements to Cyprus' 1960 and Turkey's 1923 unworkable constitutions, should we abide by "if a right is a right too many for Turkey's Kurdish community (circa 23% of population) then that right is a right too many for Cyprus' tCypriot community too (circa 15%), and vice versa." Is the adoption of this fair logic the catalyst to securing just solutions for both UN countries.
