Why the Kurdish-tCypriot analogy makes sense?

Ethnic Turks make up circa 70% of Turkey's population. Kurds make up almost 25%. The rest is made up of many much smaller minorities. As Turkey contemplates the adoption of a federation model to replace its junta inspired constitution, gCypriots need to ask themselves: would we accept to grant tCypriots those rights that Turkey is willing to grant her Kurds?

If the answer to the above question is 'yes', then we have nothing to fear.

In my opinion the answer is a resounding YES! President Makarios' 1963 proposals too were far ahead anything that ethnic Turks would be willing to grant Kurds today!

Human rights, international law and energy arguments speak to the minds of the international community and the hearts of an international audience. We must adopt as well a language to speak to the heart of the average Turk and Kurd, the Turkish society, who in general know very little and could care less for Cyprus.

The Kurdish - tCypriot analogy is a very powerful analogy that can help bring understanding between the peoples of the Republic of Turkey & the Republic of Cyprus.

Turkey's Kurds & Cyprus' tCypriots

As either unitary state or federation solutions are discussed as replacements to Cyprus' 1960 and Turkey's 1923 unworkable constitutions, should we abide by "if a right is a right too many for Turkey's Kurdish community (circa 23% of population) then that right is a right too many for Cyprus' tCypriot community too (circa 15%), and vice versa." Is the adoption of this fair logic the catalyst to securing just solutions for both UN countries.
