Terrorists or freedom fighters?

Nuray Mert - "One must be cruel to take the risk and feel ready to pay the price of a Kurdish-Turkish confrontation not only in the big cities but also in all parts of the country where Turks and Kurds live side by side. One must be delusional to think there is no such risk."
Nuray Mert - "Besides, it is also delusional to think that the Kurdish question can be solved by differentiating between “the Kurdish people” and “the terrorists.” Most of the observers of Kurdish politics came to the point of admitting that those who are defined as “terrorists” in the eyes of the security forces are seen as “freedom fighters” in the eyes of millions of Kurds. This is a big challenge for any state and indeed for any society to overcome such deep differences of not only opinions but of loyalties and come to some sort of peaceful agreement. Yet, there must be a way, we must be searching for this way with determination and this way should not be to engage in a “domestic war on terrorism.” "

Turkey's Kurds & Cyprus' tCypriots

As either unitary state or federation solutions are discussed as replacements to Cyprus' 1960 and Turkey's 1923 unworkable constitutions, should we abide by "if a right is a right too many for Turkey's Kurdish community (circa 23% of population) then that right is a right too many for Cyprus' tCypriot community too (circa 15%), and vice versa." Is the adoption of this fair logic the catalyst to securing just solutions for both UN countries.
