  • 10 / NATIONAL ANTHEM / A new national anthem to be adopted for the Republic of Cyprus - by a gCypriot on 6/3/11 - by a gCypriot on 6/3/11
  • 9/ ENFORCING THE AGREEMENTS / The EU to impose financial sanctions should the agreement is not respected either against its member state, Cyprus, or Turkey.
  • 8/ SECURITY and GUARANTEES / No solution without a resolution under Chapter 7 of the United Nations Charter. This is the main reason AKEL rejected the Anan plan - by a gCypriot on 6/3/11
  • 7b/ RESTORATION / Freeze all building projects on GC owned land for a given duration after a solution in order to begin a orderly system of return/compensation - by a tCypriot on 5/3/11
  • 7a/ RESTORATION / An immediate re-addition/placement of gCypriot place names alongside the current Turkish names  - by a tCypriot on 5/3/11
  • 6/ RECONCILIATION / A UN/EU/RoC cultural heritage restoration program that involves the utilization of local skills/craftsmen training provided if necessary to restore/rebuild churches, cemeteries, homes . This could be an excellent opportunity for the Cypriot youth alongside seasoned pros to learn heritage skills/jobs whilst taking ownership of their common cultural heritage/assets. Pre and post unification would result in lots of work to be done, perfect as unemployment is so high. This money could be provided for by the Base Rental Fund (BRF). The sooner we get TC/GC,s especially the youth working together the better  - by a tCypriot on 5/3/11
  • 4/ FOREIGN POWERS / No external meddling ever without Cypriot consent! - by a gCypriot on 3/3/11
  • 3c/ BASES / A European or UN supported police force in combination with a small number of gC/tC police might be seem to look more representative, after all we may be European but we want to limit as much 'outside interference' as possible without being too isolationist to begin with. Anyway this would be a temporary measure. - by a tCypriot on 5/3/11
  • 3b/ BASES / How about we ask from the UK for rent for the use of one of the bases to finance reintegration & give the second base to NATO in exchange for a police force which can be cancelled only 2/3 majority from both communities' MPs? Or an EU police force, which is perhaps even better if we consider ourselves European? - by a gCypriot on 4/3/11
  • 3a/ BASES / No sovereign foreign bases on Cyprus! - by a gCypriot on 3/3/11
  • 2/ EXECUTIVE / The VP position to be guaranteed for a tCypriot until such time that a tCypriot is elected by a majority CYPRIOT population for the Presidency, in which case the VP position is given to a gCypriot - by a gCypriot on 3/3/11
  • 1/ FLAGS / No greek or turkish flags at any public (or semi-) institution anywhere in Cyprus! Just the Cyprus and EU flags! Enough of the "mother" nations! Individuals can do as they wish! - by a gCypriot on 3/3/11

Turkey's Kurds & Cyprus' tCypriots

As either unitary state or federation solutions are discussed as replacements to Cyprus' 1960 and Turkey's 1923 unworkable constitutions, should we abide by "if a right is a right too many for Turkey's Kurdish community (circa 23% of population) then that right is a right too many for Cyprus' tCypriot community too (circa 15%), and vice versa." Is the adoption of this fair logic the catalyst to securing just solutions for both UN countries.
