Sovereign State or Base?

"But is it a Treaty establishing a sovereign state or a treaty establishing a sovereign base in the end?" Dr. Yiorghos Leventis 21/3/2013

The most succinct, insightful, caustic argument ever made, eloquently unveiling Britain's malevolent role in Cypriot affairs, unabated to this date as the British are desperate to secure their colonial interests in Cyprus through the apartheid concotion of a so called bizonal bicommunal federation, aiming to perpetuate the first version they envisioned in 1960, "upgraded" with geographical and ethnic division. The Cypriot "aboriginals'" patience is running out.

A deal can be struck for a base going forward, but not at the expense of the legitimate interests of the Cypriot people, 90% of whom are Greek Christians with uninterrupted documented presence for millennia on end. I hope and trust the queen's local temporary administrators of Cypriot property accurately sense the changing mood.

Turkey's Kurds & Cyprus' tCypriots

As either unitary state or federation solutions are discussed as replacements to Cyprus' 1960 and Turkey's 1923 unworkable constitutions, should we abide by "if a right is a right too many for Turkey's Kurdish community (circa 23% of population) then that right is a right too many for Cyprus' tCypriot community too (circa 15%), and vice versa." Is the adoption of this fair logic the catalyst to securing just solutions for both UN countries.
