Kurds to hold talks in Cyprus

BREAKING NEWS:

It was just announced that BDP/DTK representatives will be holding meetings in Cyprus (the Republic of, which as per Prime Sinister of Turkey does not exist) with leading politicians from both the gCypriot majority and tCypriot minority. The BDP wishes to explore further the current basis of the Cyprus talks, i.e. a bizonal federation, as well as the 1960/1963 arrangements. The BDP made it entirely clear that it sees the Cyprus precedent as the most relevant to help shape the day after in Turkey between the country's ethnic-Turk majority and circa 20 million Kurdish minority. When asked to elaborate our source which wished for anonymity stated "What happens in Cyprus reveals the thinking in majority-minority relations of the same leadership (Erdogan) we are also dealing with. Thus, understanding Erdogan's thinking in Cyprus will be of immense value to us in recommending ways out of the longstanding Turko-Kurdish probllem back home."

Turkey's Kurds & Cyprus' tCypriots

As either unitary state or federation solutions are discussed as replacements to Cyprus' 1960 and Turkey's 1923 unworkable constitutions, should we abide by "if a right is a right too many for Turkey's Kurdish community (circa 23% of population) then that right is a right too many for Cyprus' tCypriot community too (circa 15%), and vice versa." Is the adoption of this fair logic the catalyst to securing just solutions for both UN countries.
