Turks' 25m Kurds, Cypriots' 80k Turkish Cypriots!
Jan 26, 2013 - BDP's Ayla Akat [Kurd] responds to CHP's Birgul Guler [Kemalist] who had said in Turkish parliament: "There is no Kurdish question in Turkey and the Kurdish people are not equal to Turks and can not be given equal rights." (2 minute video). Turkish Cypriots do NOT deserve more rights in Cyprus than Kurds in "Turkey". In fact Kurds deserve more in "Turkey" because they actually have a historical and ethical claim on a large contiguous part of the landmass (north Kurdistan) we refer to as "Turkey". When this TRUTH sinks in we will be well on our way to solve the Turkish - British - Turkish Cypriot problem of Cyprus.

The Only Way
- If a peaceful resolution is north Kurdistanis' target then Cyprus can both free Kurdistan as well as free itself if "Turkey" is asked incessantly by Kurds to reveal the principles and its deeper thinking on the Turkish Cypriot minority community of Cyprus vis-a-vis those on her "own" Kurds.
- Everything else is noise.

The Word Is Out, Listen and Stay Tuned
Kendal NEZAN, President of the Kurdish Institute of Paris and Board Member of the Washington Kurdish Institute on FRANCE 24's live DEBATE presented by François Picard following the January 10th brutal assassination of three Kurdish activists in Paris. Mr Nezan uses the Cyprus analogy as part of his argumentation. Finally! Kurds begin to see the obvious, that northern Kurdistani freedom goes through Cyprus and vice versa. When will Cypriot politicians join the awakening?

Deafening Silence
Question to "Turkey" 's Democrats, whoever they may be:
Do you really think the ethnic Turkish majority can solve its Kurdish problem by ignoring "Turkey" 's words/actions in Cyprus since the 1950s in support for the Turkish Cypriot minority? Don't you find your lack of sincerity in addressing Kurdish demands starting right there on Cyprus? Why the deafening silence on the analogy?

We'll have what they are having!
If we agree that "Turkey" won't just hand back Kurdistan to Kurds through negotiations, then the most effective message northern Kurdistanis have for ethnic Turks, for westerners to listen in as well, is:
WE WANT WHAT YOU WANT FOR THE TURKISH CYPRIOTS!
WE WANT WHAT YOU WANT FOR THE TURKISH CYPRIOTS!

Turkey's Kurds & Cyprus' tCypriots
As either unitary state or federation solutions are discussed as replacements to Cyprus' 1960 and Turkey's 1923 unworkable constitutions, should we abide by "if a right is a right too many for Turkey's Kurdish community (circa 23% of population) then that right is a right too many for Cyprus' tCypriot community too (circa 15%), and vice versa." Is the adoption of this fair logic the catalyst to securing just solutions for both UN countries.
