Why Is Turkey Not European?

There are many Turks who genuinely feel European, albeit whether they understand European values is another matter (take for example their outrageous conviction that Cyprus is Turkish which is contrary to every legal, historical and ethical argument). However, "Turkey" does not belong in Europe. And yes, Christianity has a lot to do with it. The values that permeate Europe are inspired by / based upon Christianity whereas "Turkey" is mainly influenced by Islam which is similar to Christianity only in so far that they both revere a supreme being. Islam however is a political proposition more than anything else, and the values it projects are completely different than Christianity's. Starting with the freedom to be religious or not. Christianity advises. Islam dictates. Therefore "Turkey" is not & cannot be European. Le Pen is right. The sooner Turks realize it, the better off they will be.

What Özdil Nami Needs to Realize

Özdil Nami needs to realize he represents the will of about 80.000 Cypriots. Turkish Cypriots used to constitute 18% of Cyprus' population; today less than 10%. Özdil Nami is Minister of nothing. He knows very well that his community NEVER had any contiguous land in Cyprus. The land of his statelet is stolen, ethnically cleansed, illegally colonized, culturally sodomized.

Bizonality in Cyprus opens Pandora's box for the world

Bizonality has no basis in Cypriot history. It is a divisive apartheid notion that suits perfectly the three NATO allies who are primarily responsible for the so-called Cyprus problem: the UK, "Turkey" and the USA. Above all, it is unethical.

Turkey's Kurds & Cyprus' tCypriots

As either unitary state or federation solutions are discussed as replacements to Cyprus' 1960 and Turkey's 1923 unworkable constitutions, should we abide by "if a right is a right too many for Turkey's Kurdish community (circa 23% of population) then that right is a right too many for Cyprus' tCypriot community too (circa 15%), and vice versa." Is the adoption of this fair logic the catalyst to securing just solutions for both UN countries.
